New York City's free, public pools officially open for the summer today, including a brand new pool in Central Park. The Parks Department operates more than 75 outdoor pools across the five boroughs.

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Troy has plans to reopen a public pool at Knickerbacker Park after the pool was closed several years ago. The mayor said plans for a full aquatic center will soon be underway.
