First fix: Installed new cabling from the consumer unit to the lighting point and switch location, ensuring all cables were correctly rated, routed, and secured in accordance with BS 7671.Second fix: Connected and fitted the new LED light and switch, completing terminations, testing polarity, insulation resistance, continuity, and verifying circuit protection and operation.
