#KnittingTip – Cabling without a cable needle My favorite cable needle is no needle! Rearrange the stitches first, then knit them (much harder to cross the wrong way). Remember: “Left it out FRONT, be right BACK.” For a left cross the cable needle would be held in front, for a right cross the cable needle will be held in back. So . . . when you work without a cable needle, your knitting needle will skip over the first stitches that would normally be held on the cable needle. If the cable needle
