The 2019 CrossFit Games 1-rep-max clean event came down to an epic battle between Tia-Clair Toomey and Amanda Barnhart. This event was a ladder format, with weight increasing by 5 lb after each successful lift. The cumulative effect of this event eliminated athletes one by one, until only Toomey and Barnhart remained.
