A series of cold fronts will bring showers, strong winds, hail and snow to parts of southeast South Australia, southern New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania early and mid next week. A cold front, and the low pressure system it is attached to, can be seen approaching south-west parts of Australia in the water vapour satellite imagery. Water vapour satellite imagery shows what's going on in the higher levels of the atmosphere, around 6 to 12km above sea level.
