I actually had to make the collet part twice, after getting my maths wrong initially. The one you see featured here up until I used the collet block was actually far too wide at the base. The difference that 2 millimetres can make! 😬 I’ve been making a collet setting for the first time today, or at least trying to! There are several different ways to do this, but the method on my Diploma course calls for a bit of geometry to create the setting itself. Now maths is NOT one of my strongest subjects and I wasn’t wholly surprised to have messed it up first time! 🤪😂 What did surprise me though was my error was merely 2mm off, and yet that completely changed the size of the entire t
