Hitching the 5th Wheel in 8 Simple Steps: 1. Drop the tailgate and place wheel chocks behind the trailer tires. 2. Set kingpin height to align with the Companion hitch’s coupler. 3. Unlock the jaws/open the arm on the hitch. 4. Once lined up, slowly back the tow vehicle and connect the 5th wheel to the hitch. 5.
