Earlier in 2019, AutoForm launched Forming R8, their latest update to the AutoForm software package. At StampingSimulation we are very impressed by the 3D visualization of the full sheet thickness through every step of the sheet metal forming process. Although is has been possible to see the sheet thickness visualization in cross section for a few years, the added thickness visualization in full 3D is a welcome (and impressive) step forward for AutoForm software.
