Stopping for pedestrians is very demure, very mindful. 🚸 Over this morning's 3.5-hour detail, UCF Police officers stopped 73 drivers for failing to yield to pedestrians and two pedestrians for not using a crosswalk. With a goal of educating our community on pedestrian traffic laws, the majority of these stops resulted in a written warning, however, 11 drivers did receive citations due to the severity of the infraction.
