Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa has acknowledged concerns about an unislamic western-style dance performance he attended in Damascus on Monday during the opening of a new sports arena.Al Sharaa said he was unaware of the performance before he took a last minute decision to attend.He added that any such ceremonies in the future should contain “meaningful content that is in line with the country's traditions and customs.”
