Yes springtails are generally good. Some species however can eat plants. I don’t want millions in my hydroponic setup if possible but if you do then by all means grow how you would like to. They arnt much of an issue and are generally beneficial so I wouldn’t worry much if you have them unless you notice them being a problem. They can be tough to get rid of, witch for that I recommend letting the clay dry out in the sun before you start a new plant in it sense once you have them they are not goi
